Happy St Urho's Day!
It's the day St Urho drove the grasshoppers from Finland and saved the grapes!

Went to the St. Urho festival this weekend with the kids. The festival, or at least the only one I know of happens in Menahga MN, a small town full of Finlanders.

They have one in Finland, Minnesota, too. With a parade even. And, apparently, St Urho's was invented in Finland, Minnesota.

See my original post. It was grasshoppers. To save the grapes. Which, of course, Finland doesn't have.

Well, I was too busy eating a lot of nice Finnish food to use the internet on Sunday, so I missed this thread.
St. Urho's Day is a day for purple and green, but I will also wear baby blue and white for the flag of Finland.
Such fun!
