Old man Winter returns with a vengeance

Right now it's snowing. It started at 10:00. It's supposed to snow until tomorrow morning, bringing us up to 12 inches of the fluffy stuff (feel free to substitute a more vulgar word). I have to work at 4:00 am tomorrow. It should really be fun to get to work by then.

Goofy weather today for sure Dawn. It was freezing here this morning and now it is 55 degrees with rain and high humidity. Almost like spring.

Stop rubbing it in!

Here in SD we got a little snow, probably about an inch. Not very much. I hate winter, but do like the first snow and snow on Christmas. Other than those two days I can't wait for spring.

Trust me, it will change back pretty quick here. We are right on the line of freezing rain and snow. Probably a good thing I decided not to make the trip to Minnesota this week.

Freezing rain sucks, might as well snow half a foot, it would be safer at least.

The only two days of the year I want to see white on the ground are December 7th - it's my birthday and I figure a birthday in December should have snow on the ground - and Christmas Day. Brown Christmases really suck.

I'm glad you made that decision. It's pretty bad on the roads and it is snowing in the Cities. We wouldn't want anyone on the board to get hurt travelling.

I read a story on this on yahoo news last night and
they said the fed had storm warnings in five states.

Duluth Minnesota was singled out with
over 8 inches of snow already.... :?

We got 10 inches as of midnight up here in Duluth. It finally quit snowing around 1:30 this morning. The streets are still pretty bad and alleys won't be plowed until tomorrow. My parking space is off the alley and I can't get to it. Had a heck of a time getting out of there this morning to go to work.

I just moved from Northern Illinois to Melbourne, Florida at the end of July... couldn't be happier not to see any of the white stuff. I spent too many winters walking/freezing in that stuff to miss it this soon.

Just wait. You'll get tired of the one season years down there. It just ain't Christmas without snow. :)

Maybe a few years down the road. But right now I'm in heaven. :)

Wish it snowed here, I hate the heat in Florida and I wish I could see the snow again.

Sure, rub it in, Mike. :D We get some of the most awful weather here in the Ohio Valley. We get both extremes, highs near 100 in the summer and lows below zero in the winter. Weird. It was 11 degrees yesterday morning and it's still snowing today, about 20 degrees. I hate winter.

Just wait - you said you wanted to come to Canton to see CC's induction (I hope he makes it the first time but you know the Viking curse). That's always at the end of July. It will be HOT! They don't call 'em the dog days of summer for nothing, though my dogs certainly don't handle them well.
