I too am surprised Donald's name has come up.

I hope Teddy but in the back of my mind im still thinking JFB. And if he runs around in the NFL like he has in college, Clay Mathews will kill him. People talk about Teddy not being big enough, JFB is even smaller and runs 3 times as much. How many more hours till our pick? :)

Watching ESPN live… some talking head I didn't recognize reported that Spielman told him there was a 50/50 chance that they trade out of 8.

Stoking the flames, I suppose.

They must have gone and watched the Movie "Draft Day"

Ryan Mallett - QB - Patriots

CSN New England's Tom Curran reports the Texans are on the verge of acquiring Patriots QB Ryan Mallett.

Per Curan, a deal "may soon be done." If it seems out of nowhere, it shouldn't. New Texans coach Bill O'Brien was the Patriots' offensive coordinator when they made Mallett the No. 74 overall pick of the 2011 draft, while Houston reportedly reached out to the Pats earlier this offseason. Heading into the final year of his rookie contract, Mallett has attempted just four regular-season passes. He's never been particularly impressive in the preseason, but it's not always easy for back-up signal callers to stand out in exhibition games.

But there's no need to take Donalds. Firstly, we just spent a first rounder on a 3 tech DT last year who showed promise, and secondly, I'm very cautious of work out warriors like Donalds. I'm even skeptical of Greg Robinson.
Put on the tape. They are both MUCH more than workout warriors.

Edit:
@evansilva RE: #Vikings & #Bucs backers opposed to A. Donald: Interior pressure surest, quickest way to torpedo offense. Can never have too much of it.

Grandpa "Double-guns" Favre shares his thoughts/arms on the draft's best QB: http://www.startribune.com/video/258526501.html?

WTF is he on? Is he moving to the WWE?

I hate saying this but I hated when we drafted tavarious Jackson, hated the ponder pick and I'm gonna go out and say that bridgewater won't be much better than ponder. I'll be happy with anyone but teddy. We should be in trade talks with Ryan mallet.

Haha, no surprise he likes Manziel, he's got some Favre mentality to him.

I have no idea but as dead_poet wrote, the BS is getting deep.

No matter who the Vikes select tonight, I guarantee their choice will make someone furious.

I think the only thing that will bum me out tonight is if we don't trade up into the first round for a second pick.

We're so used to first night fireworks with multiple picks and big splash excitement. We're almost certainly due for a less active night this year. We can't be disappointed if they only make one 1st round selection.

Two teams reporting Texans want at least three first rounders for #1. Guess they watched Draft Day too many times.
