@mattvensel -- Mike Zimmer said it was a torn pectoral for Brandon Fusco, who's on IR.
@GoesslingESPN -- Brandon Fusco will have surgery tomorrow, Zimmer said. Designation to return wasn't realistic for him or Cassel.

Wow, I cant remember a time when so many crucial players had injuries.
Is Wentworth the only move the Vikings have made for the Oline? He is a tackle, is he going to play guard?

It's not like they're major pieces of our defense or anything.
@1500ESPNJudd -- Vikings DT Linval Joseph sits out practice because of a shoulder injury and S Harrison Smith was limited because of a knee injury.

I think there are some hard hitting 4th grades recently at Pearl Park in S. Minneapolis.

A lot of draft reports for Wentworth had him projected as an OG in the NFL due to his short arms. Think he needs to be able to play both to stick in the NFL as a backup.
Looks like Vlad is penciled in at ROG:
Andrew Krammer @Andrew_Krammer
#Vikings OL coach Jeff Davidson: "We just feel Vlad [Ducasse] gives us the best chance going forward to win games."

Hopefully the reason why he looked a step slower.
@mattvensel -- Kyle Rudolph said he had been nagged by his injury since early August. They thought they could manage it but it got worse. #Vikings

@GoesslingESPN -- Bridgewater: It feels pretty good. I'm making progress each day. Bridgewater says he's "much further ahead" than he was Sunday.
Bridgewater wouldn't put percentage on chance of playing Thursday. Saying all the right things.
@Andrew_Krammer -- Teddy Bridgewater just walked out of the locker room to go to podium, didn't look like he was favoring left ankle at all. DNP yesterday.
Bridgewater said he hasn't been throwing passes. Just rehab work. Bridgewater said he hasn't done any throwing yet. Will do some running today.

It's like the week leading up to the 2012 playoff game at Lambeau all over again, with Ponder on the opposite side of the situation, in the position Webb was in back then. I wonder if they'll be testing Teddy's ankle shortly before the game to see if he can go.

Vikings safety Harrison Smith walked around the locker room on Friday with crutches and a walking boot on his left foot.
Head coach Mike Zimmer said Smith received an MRI that showed no significant damage in the ankle he injured on a safety blitz with 2:49 left in the first quarter. An offensive lineman rolled up on his ankle on the play, which ended in a sack by defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd.
“Just got rolled up on, so we’ll see where I’m at [Saturday],” Smith said
Smith said the ankle was swollen this morning after playing the entire game. He was one of five defensive players to play all 54 snaps in the 42-10 blowout loss to the Packers at Lambeau Field on Thursday. Smith typically gets his ankles taped underneath his sock, which is standard. During the game, Smith was taped up twice – once over his sock and once over his cleat – to stabilize the ankle.
“When you’re excited to play, you don’t feel much,” Smith said.
