Obviously you didn't take any of this into consideration......
.....regardless of whatever "genius" comment you come back with....you aren't changing my mind on the matter. So you can go back and forth all you want but neither of us are getting anywhere. So I would say agree to disagree (The story of your life when it comes to the VMB)
I'll put you to the test.....Demi.....Adrian Peterson is the best overall RB in the NFL. Agree or Disagree?? Let's see if it's possible that you can actually agree with someone.

Guy isn't even on the field on third downs, so what kind of stupid question is this? His own coaches don't even want him out there on passing downs because he's not much of a threat as a receiver, and terrible as a blocker. So no he isn't the best overall RB in the NFL. Best runner? Yeah, one of the best in the history of the game as a runner. But as an overall RB? HA!

ooo, another shot.

Shocking, you don't agree. He's not much of a threat as a WR because they don't use him in the passing game. No matter which way you get him the ball, he's dangerous. He could easily be used as a WR, Musgrave just never did because he was clueless. When Favre was here, he was utilized on screens often and caught balls out of the backfield....why haven't we done that lately?? He had the most receptions and receiving yards in his career in 09....weird. He can obviously do it, you just have to find coaches with brains. I can see Turner utilizing him as a pass-catcher as well. His blocking is bad yes but it's not a bad thing he isn't out there on 3rd downs. It could prolong his career

uhh ok? It's not a shot....it's just the truth

Holy cow! I agree with Demi again! Peterson is not the greatest RB ever. I think he's the greatest runner ever but he is not a complete back. That being said that's another reason to dislike Frazier and Co. I've seen Peterson make some decent catches and I wonder if he had some better coaches and a better OC if he could be the best RB ever. As determined as this Guy its hard for me to believe that he can't get better at blocking. Also a good OC should be able to figure out how to get more out of him in the passing game. I blame the coaches not AD on this.

I'm not saying ever. I'm saying currently. And it's not like Peterson can't catch or something, it's just he wasn't utilized in that way with Musgrave/Frazier calling the shots. It's not Petersons fault and it's not like he can't do it, he proved he could when Favre was here. He's not incapable of catching the ball. Turner had Tomlinson heavily involved in the passing game. I could see him doing the same with AP

That's my hope too! Peterson has so much talent and determination, that I have a hard time believing he can't be the 4 down back we need. I stated I saw him make some good catches and for the life of me couldn't figure out why we didn't utilize him more in that fashion. If this coaching staff can figure out how to use him besides just running the ball, this offense could be VERY dangerous. Just imagine instead of running Peterson on 1st down we might just throw it to him instead? I have to believe defenses would play us a little different if they had to worry about him every down on not just on the first two.

Ok, so now we'll just take a 34 OLB and change his position to fit our narrative.
Because our LBs are a bunch of bums. We have Greenway, who's over 30, and a bunch of mid to late round draft picks. So yeah, beating out our terrible linebackers makes him average...
The minute he saw the field, he got hurt. Coming off an injury. He contributed nothing. He proved nothing. You lose sir. Good day.
But he was there best? Arguably? He cleared waivers. They still didn't try to bring him back.
Why am I even investing this much time in a scrub like Bishop. If we switch to a 34? Borderline. If not it'd be pointless. Hopefully Spielman sees it the same way...we'll see.
No offense Demi, but I hope Spielman doesn't see anything the way you do.

Ouch.
Jared Allen - DL - Vikings
Former NFL scout and director of pro personnel Louis Riddick believes Jared Allen will be this year's most overrated free agent.
Allen hasn't missed a game since 2007 and has recorded 45.5 sacks in the last three seasons. But he'll turn 32 in April and Riddick is sees the "wall" coming in a hurry. "With Jared, I see a player with diminishing get-off quickness, an inability to win on the edge against quality competition without benefiting from the QB holding the ball too long, marginal stamina as an every-down end and an average point-of-attack run defender that does not play with a consistent level of competitiveness," said Riddick.

I have to agree with this assesment. I really like JA but he is definately not worth the money that it would take to keep him on the team. Again spend that money to sign Griffin.

Spot on with Allen. I'd try Justin Tuck over Jared Allen.
Asante was traded to ATL for a 7th round pick a couple of years ago. Wish we did that trade.

How ironic

" Percy Harvin has essentially replaced Rice as the team's high-priced, injury-prone wideout. The 'Hawks likely will part ways with him, Rapoport reported."
