It's probably not much more than wishful thinking but I'm thinkin' it anyway!frosted wrote:I feel ya Moth. I would like to see him back next year too.
I'm probably crazy, but I put the chances he is back at better than 50%.Mothman wrote:It's probably not much more than wishful thinking but I'm thinkin' it anyway!
Hope you and Peter King are right!frosted wrote: I'm probably crazy, but I put the chances he is back at better than 50%.
I really want to believe you're right about that.frosted wrote: I'm probably crazy, but I put the chances he is back at better than 50%.
To be clear, I'm talking about the chances he's back next year. If I had to guess, I'd say the chances he plays for us this year are less than 10%, but what the heck do I know. Haha.denburch wrote: Hope you and Peter King are right!
One can only hope that the arbitrator at least makes the RIGHT call after taking this long!Dmizzle0 wrote:Yea I know right?!
But there is no doubt the Vikings want Peterson back if they can renegotiate the contract. Believe me, there is no consideration at this time to trading Peterson, and the Vikings will make every effort to keep him.
Thank you for sharing that! Yeah, I agree - my thought has always been that we wouldn't have kept paying him all of this time if we planned on cutting him. I think that is Dallas Cowboy fan wishful thinking!Texas Vike wrote:Don't know if this has been posted here... don't have time to keep up with every thread, so apologies in advance if so.
Sid Hartman has an interesting article on AD's future: http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikin ... 44691.html
Given Sid's old school, ear to the ground, having real inside sources approach, I read this with interest:
As senile as Sid can be, he is usually correct when it comes to the stuff like this.denburch wrote: Thank you for sharing that! Yes. He also knew about the Barr pick before it happened and wrote about it. He does things the old way, with personal connections... not wild speculation. He is a bit senile, though. I love watching the videos when other reporters interview him--he's a real surly sort.PurpleMustReign wrote:
