I could easily see Griffen not clearing waivers. His contract is so team friendly another team might take a chance on him.
Yeah that is true but if some team picks him up, I just hope he does not go to a division rival
I don't see a team picking him up. He's made it clear he only want's to play here. If a teams picks him up he'll just say F it I'll retire without a farewell tour.

He isn't subject to waivers so he would have to agree to a new contract for any team that wanted to sign him.
Not sure why another team wouldn't take a shot at him either after what he did in just 4 snaps in preseason. He beat his man at least 3 of the 4 pass rushes and 2 resulted in sacks even if he only recorded the one.

The Vikings did bump up his pay by about 200K. Ended up working out for Griff.
