If Linval Joseph's out I'd seriously drop our chances of winning from whatever it was to probably half of that which is an absurd drop. In fact I'm thinking about throwing Thomas Rawls into some of my fanduel / draft kings tournament lineups, I think Joseph's that important to our run defense which has been suspect at times even with him playing at a probowl level.

Our defense is extremely solid but I think Seattle is the type of team that can give us trouble, especially if they can run the ball and we can't actually sack Wilson. Think 2 weeks back against the Packers and I think that's what we're in store for again. Lacy got enough to stay relevant and we couldn't get Rodgers on the ground often enough. Without Joseph I'm very worried that continues.

Moving Floyd to the nose doesn't make me super confident either, in fact I don't really understand that move as he seems like a pure 3 technique but maybe someone can help me out there?

There's always the chance that Peterson goes crazy or the defense just plays the perfect game but I'm not feeling good about this one. Vegas has the road team favored by 2 with the score being 22-20, that puts us on 2 TD's (1 for peterson, 1 for bridgewater) and 2 field goals so that sounds about right as well for this offense so it'll be up to the defense to either hold them below 20 or add some points on the board themselves or on special teams.

Their O-line is about as bad as ours though so there is a chance at home we can make some big plays and rattle Wilson.

You call it rubbish but that is my perception.
look at the NFC East.. that is all

Manage the game, but throw more, but NO INT'S in the red zone. Just like our former #7. I think they Fraizier and Co.) messed him up so much by the time he was starting games, he hadnt a clue what was wanted of him. They cut him apart about those sideline passes that turned into INTs, so sometimes he just off running up the middle, running into a blitz or his own lineman. I do like this this OC much better then the one Ponder had, nor the Oline coach.

sorry but being a nfl qb means you have a lot on your plate and you have to make big boy decisions in a hurry. ponder didn't succeed because he's not a good qb who shouldn't have been drafted that high. his failures are not on frazier and musgrave. look at musgrave's history of coaching and how the qbs young and old have performed.

back to the game. the hawk's pass rush worries me. unlike us they can produce consistent pressure with their two d ends without having to blitz, which leaves their lbs and dbs to make plays against the pass. obviously peterson is the key, but if he struggles it could be a long day for our passing game. i think teddy may hit a few deep passes which will be the difference 27-24 vikes.

I hope to see the defensive penalties drop and ST coverage improve. Very worried about Lockett with how the KR coverage has been lately.

Cool.

Maui's Anuhea to sing national anthem at Vikings vs. Seahawks game

TBH, I really don't listen to her much. I've seen her perform a couple of times years ago.

This will most likely be a very defensive game, but AP will have a big day at home and we win, 17-13.

Some predictions around the web:

Vikings put Seattle's season on thin ice

The Vikings don't get much credit, but that will change Sunday after knocking off the Seahawks at home. I'm not in love with their passing game, but Minnesota can pound teams with the run. It will be fascinating to watch Adrian Peterson take on a 'Hawks D that hasn't allowed a 100-yard rusher all year. That streak ends in Week 13, triggering the biggest win of the year for a playoff-bound Vikings club that deserves more respect. If this doesn't happen, NFL Media's Conor Orr will spend March and April traveling the Russian badlands on horseback with The Sklar Brothers. The trio will record their adventures in a low-budget PBS documentary entitled, 'Minsk or Bust.' -- Marc Sessler
Rawls set to outrush A.P.

The Seahawks-Vikings matchup features two of the NFL's best running backs in Adrian Peterson and Thomas Rawls. Although Peterson remains the cream of the crop as the NFL's rushing leader, Rawls will outrush him this weekend. The way to beat the Seahawks this season is through the air, as their front seven has shut down the ground attacks of the Steelers, 49ers and Cardinals the past three weeks. Rawls, on the other hand, is facing a Vikings defensive front without its best player in Linval Joseph, a run-plugging nose tackle enjoying an All Pro season. Rawls will break the century mark in a Seattle win. -- Chris Wesseling

we will lose. our passing game is somewhere on the division 3 college level. we've been able to disguise it with one of the best defenses and a weak schedule. well, the schedule isn't weak anymore.

Yeah Spielman was not around for that #1

#2, you say everyone "puts all the blame on Teddy" but don't you find it kind of odd that ZIMMER specifically called him out for not getting the ball out quick more than once and that it wasnt all the offensive lines fault??? I mean when our own damn coach is saying it, I gotta believe him over anyone else

Prediction: Vikings 26, Seahawks 24

Should be a fun and interesting game. I think special teams will play a big role.

Thelonius Bridgehonker will need to pull out his brass monkeys for this one and throw the damn ball to the place of the sacred 6.
A close game will ensue if the above takes place. Still im in love with the idea of a 27-3 score. Vikes win.
