i totally agree flatman. teddy is the real deal and he is doing all of this with a total lack of talent. imagine the play action game if we had peterson? also, imagine if patterson had mildly lived up to expectations. this kid is smart and he stands in the pocket and guns the ball. yes, the jets missed a tackle on sunday, but i was most impressed that teddy made the audible and stuck with it. also, how about his first half performance in the no huddle offense it was virtually flawless. we have our qb he has arrived.

I think there's a
lot of football to be played before we can safely arrive at that conclusion but there's reason to hope. That's good enough for me right now.

Yeah! No more "it takes 3 years to know what we have!" nonsense!

Takes 30 starts to know if you have a franchise QB or not.
Ok Rick.

30 might be a little high, but I think two years of 3000 yard seasons with a 2.5 touchdowns Vs. 1 interception rate
I would say you have an winning QB ....

Hitting 3000 yards this season would take almost 300 yards a game, and he would need to throw 10 TDs and no INTs the rest of the way. So if that's the standard, we're really going to be disappointed this year.

That's assuming a full season which Bridgewater didn't have...I believe 25-30 games which is close to what the end of next season
will be. 13 games this season and 16 next season is 29... so even if he misses a few games...we should have a very good idea of what
Teddy should be.

Even if we throw out the yards, that still means that Teddy would need to throw almost 13 TDs before his next INT to keep that ratio. I just don't think that is a very realistic standard, especially since only 9 QBs are hitting that number in the entire league right now (including Carson Palmer).
Brees, Cutler, Rivers, Ryan, Eli Manning, Flacco, and Stafford are all some pretty big name QBs who can't do that, so to expect Teddy to do that in year two is a tall task.
