To be fair, that was way out in front of him. He had to stretch quite a ways to even have a chance.

Agreed espeically a ball with some heat on it like a slant throw.

These play calls and Ponder aren't helping.

Musgrave is not smart. Quick routes and/or middle of the field to fill the void of the blitzing backers. And Ponder is non-chalant in his dropback like it's a Sunday stroll. He's not showing athleticism at all.
