Side note. The Colts acquired Josh Robinson.
Bah-dah-bum. The running back from Mississippi State.

Dubose was a weird pick. He seems like a 3-4 guy.
He got a low draft grade, which is okay I guess but I'd rather have taken a pure 4-3 DT.

I find it highly unlikely that Hundley is Rodgers heir apparent, love the pick though. The Breeze wrote: smart pick. He gets to learn from Rodgers.
Nice job with Kendricks you lucky bastards.

One last chance to draft La'el Collins or Ifo-Ekpre-Olomu....

Sounds like a decent use of the 7th round pick, not very talented physically but works hard. Pretty much a must if you can't physically out play your opponent to be able to out hustle / out work them.

For our final pick in the draft (round 7, 232), we selected: Edmond Robinson, LB, Newberry.
No Ifo Ekpre-Olomu for us

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
From his little bio on NFL.com it sounds like he'll most likely be a practice squad stash and see if he can't do some major bulking up as he has a good frame but isn't nearly strong enough to play in the NFL yet.HardcoreVikesFan wrote:For our final pick in the draft (round 7, 232), we selected: Edmond Robinson, LB, Newberry.
Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
Well that'll do it. All in all I think I'm pretty pleased for day 3. I'm excited about this WR we got in the 5th round and happy we nabbed THREE offensive lineman and a fairly athletic / productive TE. I doubt the day 3 DE or this OLB make the team so my guess is they might end up on the practice squad.
Out of our 10 picks, 5 of them came in the 5th round or later and I think 6 of these guys will have a good shot to make the team so that's pretty nice.
I'm giving Spielman and co a solid B+ for this draft.

indeed.....most likely he's traded right before he becomes a FA. I don't see Rodgers approaching the time for an heir for quite a few more years.Jordysghost wrote: I find it highly unlikely that Hundley is Rodgers heir apparent, love the pick though.

The Browns drafted Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. Damn it.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
I'm going to call this the "00 Buck" draft. Seems like after the first two picks, Spielman loaded up the shotgun and peppered the team with highly athletic but raw athletes that may or may not pan out. There's some merit to it as I think the draft is largely a crap shoot in later rounds so you may as well get as many shots as possible to land a potential hit. I would have liked to have seen one more solid pick in the 3rd before we went full throttle with the project picks but I guess whoever they were targeting was gone so he decided to implement his mandatory 10 pick scheme early. Also disappointed we once again did not grab a QB. I think the Packers showed that no matter who you have behind center you should still always keep looking.

His injury was really bad. If he comes back they got a major steal. I was guessing he would go undrafted. Good pickHardcoreVikesFan wrote:The Browns drafted Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. Damn it.
