Fuller has very suspect hands, we need a bigger stronger WR like Treadwell or Doctson that can go up and win against the best CB's on the jump balls and tight coverage in the endzone

Both are gone by our pick in Kiper's mock. Coleman is gone as well.

Rudolph was supposed to be that kind of weapon, however he was asked to be more of a blocker than a receiving threat last season.

Exactly how I feel!! Treadwell and Doctson fit this offense so much better than Fuller does. They both are solid route runners that can create separation, do a great job of high pointing the football, use their size and body well, have exceptional hands, etc. Fuller, IMO doesn't really have any of that

Brian Hoyer signed a backup deal with the Bears for 2 million. That is a surprise...that's cheap.

It's probably cheap because he was so awful in the playoffs last season. That couldn't have helped his market.

He had 19 TD's to 7 int's in the regular season. Just seeing the way Houston drafted it doesn't seem he had a great deal to work with.
Fox seems to be doing a good job with the Bears.

I think he knows what he's doing. Losing Adam Gase in the offseason could set them back a bit but with Fox in Chicago, this division is likely to keep getting tougher and more competitive. His track record suggests the Bears will be able to compete for the division sooner than later. Things could become VERY competitive in the NFC North over the next few years.

Eh, until the Bears learn that you cant sign absolutely terrible, mediocre QBs to 7 year deals, I wouldn't hold my breath, sure they might scrape out a cute little playoff appearance here or there if they are lucky, but I seriously doubt they ever a real contender, especially with them settling on mediocrity at the QB position.

The best coach they had in Halas Hall they ran out of town, they havent recovered since.

We'll see what happens but in Fox's previous two stops, he took teams from a single digit win total to a double digit win total in his second season. I don't expect him to pull that off in Chicago but the man has had two head coaching jobs and he's led his team to the Super Bowl both times. I think he's the best coach the Bears have had since Ditka (I assume that's who you were referring to above). I expect him to have them contending for the playoffs next year. I don't know if he can accomplish it this year.
