And we didn't have to give up our 2014 1st to do it. I think we gave up a little too much, but it's whatever. We got 3 great players in the 1st 3 rounds.

I hope you're not expecting Patterson to be a major contributor this year. He has a LOT to learn. If anything, he might make things more difficult on Ponder if he can't run precise routes.

I really think they got him to take over PH's place from day 1. With the bubble screens, short passes, etc. And as KR. Eventually he will be the route runner WR. Right now thats Jennings. And Wrights going to be the deep threat haha. At least thats what im hoping.

There have been a fair number over the years. There's usually one every year or two.

Spielman said Rhodes does have instincts for zone but strength is press man. Said Rhodes and Floyd were 2 players they wouldn't trade out of. Also said Patterson was the only guy they would trade back into the first round for. Obviously confident in him.

Really wish we kept that high 4th from Detroit but in the grand scheme, the Vikings still nabbed 3 players in the first 3 rounds. It makes tomorrow boring but I like Patterson's upside.

The 2nd is a low 2nd round pick as well as that 3rd. That high 4th would have been nice, but I think they had to add that to get that 1st from the Pats...
