I wasn't surprised at all of course. Seattle may be the best team in football and the Vikings...aren't.
But did you hear Ponder's post-game presser?! He actually said it!! He said, "Easily correctable." Unbelievable!!!
I don't like confrontational media but you almost wish SOMEBODY would say, "Christian, we've heard the term 'easily correctable' from you several tiimes this year; and yet we're not really seeing any of that correcting."
Probably not a wise thing to say after the Vikings gave up 41 points yesterday, but I was honestly not blown away by Seattle. Are they one of the most talented teams in the league this year? Absolutely. They're light years ahead of the Vikings. However, I just wasn't in awe of them. The Vikings were totally in the game until Ponder started throwing to the other team. I think Seattle has greatly benefited from a soft schedule. They've played only TWO teams with a winning record (cardinals and colts) and lost to the colts. They've beaten the jags, texans, falcons, bucs and vikings. Those five teams have NINE wins between them. I'm not a big "who have you played guy", but those facts can't be ignored. If they get to the super bowl, it will be because they'll probably have homefield advantage. Other than that, I wasn't greatly impressed. The way to beat them is by stopping Lynch (vikings gave up way too many YAC) and forcing Wilson to beat you.

I never believed in Ponder. I only supported Ponder to get under people's skin a little bit. And a SMALL part of me actually thought Ponder would get his act together and turn it around. He cant turn it around if he tried.
Every press conference it's the same thing with him. "We clearly gotta get better and I obviously I gotta take better care of the football. Offensively we just didn't execute and we uh, gotta get better. Our expectations were clearly heading into this season, we didn't it expect to go down this way. The best thing about it is that we have more games left to turn it around and get another win. Uhhh I plan on starting, it's coach Fraziers call, but im going to go out and practice and prepare as if im the starter."
Ponder and Frazier belong together. They spew the same #### every week.

They stomped on the niners too. Seattle is getting better. Would be cool to see them face the Panthers before it's said and done.

Good observations. I completely agree. Also, their home field advantage doesn't seem to be all that either lately. And they can't even depend on that; a better team will beat them, regardless of their supposed home field advantage. They really need Percy to get going--or I don't think their offense will measure up in the playoffs. I mean, they managed to look like "a great team" against
us (woohoo, impressive) for less than a
half, and that had more to do with our stupid mistakes rather than their "greatness".

You can say Ponder was throwing passes to the other team, but those defenders have to be in good positions to make those plays. Had that been Ponder throwing against the Vikings' defense, there would have been no defensive backs or linebackers near any of those passes.

Maybe they were in those good positions because they weren't really worried about Ponder throwing it up the field. They saw enough of those little outs in the 1st half and they were quite ready for them when Ponder threw them in the 2nd. The Vikes passing offense is so limited, and so predictable, it makes any secondary look good.

I can't remember the one interception, but the one intended for Adrian was either a completely inaccurate throw or a serious miscommunication between AP and Ponder because the ball was not close to where the receiver was and it was a very short pass.

Bro it's over. Why must we keep beating a dead horse? You must want to debate or something? Are you that bored?

So, you WERE trolling! Despite many veteran members complaining about trolling and personal attacks, you started a thread that you KNEW would rile people up.
Disgusting. We don't need that crap here.

And again, sir, you did the same thing to mock that
exact thread and it got deleted. Just sayin'. Time to let things things go if you, yourself, can't even practice what you preach. Oh yes, let's point fingers at James like he's the only one that did anything wrong, when y'all (THREE posters made mockery threads) did something worse and even more obnoxious. Good call.
Not.
And, for the last time, James
does usually believe what he says when he says it. He just changes his mind on a weekly basis. That's just him. He loves someone one week, and wants him benched, cut, or fired the next. He's rational midweek, and emotionally irrational after an ugly loss. It is what it is. Not sure it's worth crying about. There are plenty of posters on here just like that. Read the game day threads. You'll see.
Moving on...

It exactly PurpleMustReign you made a troll thread, right after my Ponder thread. So what does that make you? Melanie is right. I often do love someone one week when they're doing good and I hate them again we they start to suck. A couple of weeks ago I actually did believe Ponder would get his act together and I believed in him. Yet I knew my Ponder support would bother people. It's not my fault you guys get your panties in a twist whenever Ponder's name is mentioned.
If you are really mature as you claim. You and all the other veteran members could just simply ignore the Ponder thread. Instead of whining over the internet. If Ponder starts and has another miracle good game, im going to praise him again. I support whoever is starting, despite whether anyone here agrees or not.

I was at this NYC bar called "Bar None" for the game. It's divided in two rooms... Saints and Vikings. Vikings fans in New York are absolutely crazy and we had to bail once it got out of hand.
Damn, I hate the Saints. When Ahmad Brooks got called for "roughing the passer" on Brees the entire Saint side was like "yes! great call". Irony.
