Yikes.. I am glad the Vikings came out fairly healthy... hopefully it stays that way!

Is that a conditioning injury? I know that has been an issue with him in the past.

The meniscus is an articular cartilage that lines the knee joint. Overtime, especially with contact sports, that cartilage, which is a primary shock absorber, can get worn down. When the tissue gets beat down, any planting or quick cutting can lead to a tear. I didn't see the mechanism of injury for Jadeveon, but I assume he either got blocked and his knee bent awkwardly or he was cutting and it tore.

I think he jumped up to try and swat a ball and landed awkwardly.

Honestly any video's containing violence of a more powerful entity towards a weaker one (Physically) are sickening. I get just as upset when I saw the centerplate CEO beating the crap out of a dog in the elevator.
