It's always been like this. I remember in camps scouts were saying Ponder one second makes the dumbest throw ever...then the next second it's a ball that should never be completed. I've always said that Ponder has to lower that ratio from dumb mistakes:perfect throws. He's shown that this year, and will continue to years down the line. Us fans needed to see a throw like this to seal the game, now I can smile at this win instead of half smile like I was before that touchdown.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Man, we can use that play on just about any redzone. It was perfection. Right in between 2 DBS. Absolute perfect. How the heck does Ponder look so bad, then come back and look so good. No QB could have placed that ball better.

On a side note every single late that started at 4:25 has been a blowout.

Seriously, gotta give the kid time. He's already done so much better than last year.

Hes still learning the game , we will have to hope his good Ponder play is way more than his bad Ponder play . If we compare him to many second year QB's that turned out great I think he will be right there .PurpleKoolaid wrote:Man, we can use that play on just about any redzone. It was perfection. And remember, the game started with the D missing alot of tackles....and from then on they played as well as ive seen. Even with Smith out and some guys ive never heard of replacing him

Because he is a darn good young QB that sometimes makes mistakes.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Man, we can use that play on just about any redzone. It was perfection. Right in between 2 DBS. Absolute perfect.
