The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Andrew Krammer @Andrew_Krammer
Can confirm #Vikings OL Carter Bykowski had surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle on Tuesday. Done for the year.

That sucks. He may have had a decent shot at playing time this year. What's up with the pec injuries? I thought Zimmer was going to address this?

Seriously? A pectoral injury? This is moving beyond the point of coincidence.

I'm really starting to wonder if the team should move away from free weights. It seems like that was the turning point with the team's pec injury issues.

Only guessing, but I suspect these injuries occur more with jerking weights and kettle balls around than on a bench with a spotter.

Their weight training specialists need to undergo some scrutiny. Something just isn't right.

Yep. I'd say.
Matt Vensel @mattvensel
Bykowski's pectoral injury is the fifth suffered by the #Vikings in 11 months.

@mattvensel Mike Zimmer said Anthony Barr told head athletic trainer Eric Sugerman that "he feels the best he’s felt in a long, long time.” #Vikings

@mattvensel Zimmer said the #Vikings are still trying to get a handle on the pec injuries. Said a number of factors can lead to such an injury.

@christomasson Zimmer said loadholt wants to hang around the facility starting to feel better after being devastated initially
Could be potentially good to continue to mentor Clemmings. I often wonder how many players do this after getting injured/lost for the season. Good on Phil.

@christomasson Mike Zimmer on Phil Loadholt: “I told him he’ll be one of many guys that have had (torn) Achilles who have come back.’’
