Has Plunder ever had a 300 yard passing game?Reignman wrote:In his 1st 2 starts, Tolzien already has as many 280+ yard passing games in his career as Ponder.
Twice... Last one was 10/14/2012, in a loss to the Redskins at FedEx Fieldpurplehaze wrote: Has Plunder ever had a 300 yard passing game?
I do not wonder why Ponder gets praise when he plays well enough to win. I do wonder when the Vikings brain trust says, "Enough is enough" after an unmitigated disaster of a QB performance like today. At 2-8, I hope this is Ponder's last start.Jeffbleedspurple wrote:Still wondering why Ponder is getting no praise?
Yeah twice. The game at Washington, most of it came in garbage time in the 2nd half after we were down 24-9 and 31-12.soflavike wrote: Twice... Last one was 10/14/2012, in a loss to the Redskins at FedEx Field
He went 35/52 for 352 yds. 2 TD's, 2 INT's (83.2 passer rating)
Ah yes, yardage. I would like to point out that in those two games he also has 1 td and 5 interceptions. But I am sure he is better than Ponder because he has more yardage.purplehaze wrote: Has Plunder ever had a 300 yard passing game?
Yeah no doubt about it, he made some dumb rookie mistakes, but you would expect that from a ROOKIE! He still throws a much better ball than Rainbow McHappy Feet. I bet he reads a defense better already too and can see open receivers. And how bout those dumb INT's that Ponder still throws in year 3? A 5 yard check down to AD who he missed by 5 yards and threw right to a LB. At least Tolziens INT's are down field where he actually takes a chance. The difference is Tolzien still threw for 300 yards despite 3 INT's. Ponder is lucky to throw for 100 even when he doesn't throw a pick.Raptorman wrote: Ah yes, yardage.
