Well, you're wrong. The stats are compiled over the course of many games against many opponents, and they don't support the conclusion that the Giants d line, or overall defense, is better than the Vikes, much less "vastly" better.soflavike wrote: Yup, that's what I'm saying. Their d-line is vastly better than our D-line, especially when it comes to QB pressure. That's what messed Rogers up.

That was such a bad throw to Rudolph... all credit to Rudolph for pulling it down. It's amazing how bad Ponder's accuracy is at times.

I watched the game, and I've watched all the Vikings games. That's my evidence.VikingLord wrote: Well, you're wrong. Starting to get something going on offense. If we get a TD here, this game is up for grabs.
It's time to take back what was rightfully ours in '98....and '09!!

Didn't float it despite terrible mechanics when he threw, but I think that's because he was forced to his left instead of to his right. He tends to float them when forced to his right. If I were the Packers I'd want him flushed to his right.Purplemania wrote:that was actually a nice play to felton...

We can agree on that!Purplemania wrote:that was actually a nice play to felton...

Not an easy throw and it was an effective, unexpected play.

Yeah, but you haven't watched all of the Giants games.soflavike wrote: I watched the game, and I've watched all the Vikings games. That's my evidence.
Look, the stats don't lie. Giants may have the Packers' number, but that is not a better defense.

They've been moving the ball well ever since I put on my Vikings poncho purchased in Acapulco.
It's only weird if it doesn't work, right?

Yes, but you asked why the Giants were able to stop the Packers passing attack, whereas the Vikes cannot. The answer is better defense.VikingLord wrote:Yeah, but you haven't watched all of the Giants games.

OMG, is Ponder trying to get Rudolph killed with those horrible passes?

Ponder throws that better and it's an EASY TD.

Re: Vikings @ Packers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 13
If Ponder had thrown that instead of lobbing it, Rudolph would've scored.
