I have a feeling Bortles isn't falling.

I really like Mosley. Trading down and picking him would be ideal but if that's not possible, I have no problem with them taking Mosley at #8.

Re: 2014 Vikings Draft Discussion
I think I've changed my hope for their first round pick every other week for the past two months.
Of course, that's natural when new information is received and we learn more about probabilities of the Vikings going after certain players/postions, but I'm extremely excited about this draft. Whether it's Teddy, Gilbert, Mack, a trade back, I think I'll be ecstatic with any of those. I can just feel it in my bones that this team is getting and going to get better under the leadership of Zimmer and Spielman as a tandem.

You took the words out of my mouth.

Spielman, Zimmer an Turner were all at Alabamas pro day. If Turner was there, they must be taking a hard look at McCarron but I imagine they were looking at Mosely close as well

Lots of players to look at on that Alabama squad! After the combine, it's the highest concentration of NFL bound prospects.

Did Mosely bother attending the 'Bama pro day?

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl- ... -holds-offAfter not running his 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, senior LB C.J. Mosley ran for scouts and head coaches on Wednesday at Alabama's pro day. He clocked times in the 4.65-4.72 range and also looked “fluid” and “loose” in positional drills, according to those in Tuscaloosa for the workout.
Mosley ranks as NFLDraftScout.com's No. 1 ILB in the 2014 NFL Draft and has been a mainstay in mock drafts dating back to the summer. He said he made the “right decision” by not running at the Combine due to a sore hip and knee and waiting until Wednesday's pro day, but his injury history is what could keep him out of the top-20 picks on draft weekend.

Justin Gilbert - DB - Cowboys
Oklahoma State CB Justin Gilbert "solidified his status in the top half of the first round" by putting on "a standout performance" at Oklahoma State's Thursday pro day, according to NFL.com's Gil Brandt.
The NFL was well represented in Stillwater, as all 32 teams sent at least one employee to check out Cowboys' prospects. Notably, six defensive back coaches, Patriots assistant to the coaching staff Michael Lombardi, and the general manager (Kevin Colbert) and head coach (Mike Tomlin) of the Steelers were in attendance. "Gilbert looked outstanding in the position drills," wrote Brandt. "He was especially adept at backpedaling. Gilbert cemented his position as a top-15 caliber draft pick."

Re: 2014 Vikings Draft Discussion
I read some not-so-good things coming from Bridgewater's pro day. Underwhelming.
Re: 2014 Vikings Draft Discussion
Norv Turner thought it was "pretty good".

Teddy Bridgewater - QB - Cardinals
Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater's pro day workout was "very average at best," according to NFL Network's Mike Mayock.
"Most quarterbacks have good Pro Days," Mayock added. Multiple balls hit the ground during Bridgewater's workout, as he tended to sail or lead his receivers a bit too much. As The MMQB's Greg A. Bedard pointed out, Bridgewater did not wear gloves during the workout, something that he has done since high school. Rotoworld's Josh Norris will not waiver from listing Bridgewater as the top prospect in this class and a quality starter in the NFL.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 1m
Mike Mayock on Teddy Bridgewater's Pro Day: "To be honest, I expected a little more. Very average at best." Now on @nflnetwork.
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 9m
Usually during Pro Days, you hear "the ball didn't hit the ground." Won't hear that with Teddy Bridgewater's Pro Day at U of L. Good arm tho
*shrugs*
I, personally, don't put a lot of stock in these things, but it does raise some concerns.
