Keep that in mind when the Vikings play them. Or by then will they have returned to mediocrity?

Wasn't he like 10/10 on throws over 10 yards? I thought I saw that stat. Though I remember the Diggs miss so IDK.

Hill was not bad. He took what was there and was largely...Hill. We can win with that passing game. We can win easier with a better run game though.

'Returned to mediocrity'? Are you living in an alternate reality where the Jags didn't have a good O and Bortles didn't have 35 TDs an 4400 yards?

Keeping them to only 6 points in the second half was impressive, imo.

Hill wouldn't do as well against a better D and secondary, so I think getting Bradford out there is important.

I agree.
Hill also missed Johnson on a play where Johnson didn't turn around.

Can't you say that about any quarterback?

I dont think Hill's problem is arm strength. Much like Teddy he CAN chuck it downfield. However, when he does, it takes all his effort and he gives up all accuracy doing so. There were many overthrows with wide open downfield receivers. He is fine for a back up. He wont take us to a playoff berth tho. Everything I hear about Bradford is that he is very accurate downfield. I am dying to see a guy in Purple with that ability. Hopefully, its against the Pack.....

I thought Hill was very decisive and threw with real anticipation. He even got the ball out so quickly on one play that Rudolph wasn't ready for it.

I thought Hill did ok too. I dont know why the offense cant score (again), but this wasnt just because of Hill. He's got a couple receivers in Kyle and Diggs (is this guy talented or what). I do think Bradford would help a lot in the red zone though so I wouldnt mind seeing him sooner rather then later. Hopefully the Oline can continue to pass protect.

I was surprised at how well Hill played and our Pass protection in general. A good sign.

I think he did well but couldn't have been 10/10. The Diggs throw was way over 10 yards and so was the pass to Johnson where one could argue Johnson didn't get his head around quick enough (incomplete nonetheless).

I think John Madden once said Brett Favre does even better when the defense improves.
