Vikings likely will have to stop Eddie Lacy without Linval Joseph

Lacy has been almost as big of an irritant for the Vikings in their recent meetings with the Packers as Aaron Rodgers, who hasn't thrown for more than 212 yards in three games against Minnesota since Zimmer became its head coach. In those games, it has been Lacy who has burned a Vikings defense focused on stopping Rodgers.

Lacy's first 100-yard game of the season came in Week 11 against the Vikings, when he posted exactly 100 yards in the Packers' 30-13 win at TCF Bank Stadium.

Floyd insists he's playing. I think I heard he'll stay a 3-tech. Sounds like Ellis might get the start at the nose.

Thats good. Ellis was a pretty decent signing. For a guy off the streets, he's filled in pretty well.

Bj Raji and Mike Neal upgraded to probable for the game tommorow night, Sheilds downgraded to doubtful.

(I know this Vikings injury thread but the game is tommorow against you guys so I find it applicable)

Sheilds is out, which is big considering he is one of the few guys in the league that can run stride for stride with Mike Wallace.

He said in a post-game interview he would be ready next week (I won't doubt him).

Big question. How far is Linval away from playing on Sunday?

That sucks... not surprising though. He couldn't put any weight on his foot at all.

Any word on Kenrick Ellis? He was having a decent game until he got hurt.

If today was a playoff game, I wonder if Linval would have been out there. I really hope he's good to go for the Seattle game.

That's awful news. This is going to be tricky. His contract is up after the season and he's not going to play at all in 2016 (or ever again?) due to injury. This suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks

Just wondering how we are doing this morning.
Thielen injured his shoulder in the game, AP injured his back, Ellis ankle?
Joesph with his toe. He going to be able to play againest Seattle? and I'm sure many more.

I would assume the biggie is Ellison and also that his career is probably over. That really sucks~
