That isn't this situation. Besides, I didn't say I was okay with it, I said I wasn't going to lose my cool.

Norv Zimmer wrote:That series was so wierd.
The refs reset the ball with no measurement, when it looked like he wasn't even close to the 1st down.
I could see a auto first down set if it was 3rd down, but not 4th.
Then they snapped the ball for the next play with the clock stopped at 2 mins. It was stopped for like 3 seconds.

I will be very surprised if this isn't talked about, completely fishy by the refs.

Anyway good game! We Are 1-1 BABY!

And ond of the refs waved his hands to stop the clock!!!! You will see it on the replay!!

That Euclid was no Vince Lombardi, was he?

Zimmer should have called a timeout for a measurement. It was the 2 minute warning wasnt it? He would have gotten it back. Dumb Refs really love to pull this kind of crap on the Vikes.

Don't forget the complete non-call on the intentional grounding by Stafford. It was a textbook case. Complete BS.

Nice rebound win. Just about all aspects looked much improved. Walsh is probably the most worrisome with the second being they need to cut down on penalties.

I'll be at the game next week!!! :smilevike:

That's great news, although the Lions aren't exactly a good power running team. i'm curious to see what happens next time we come up against one.

Anyway, they needed to bounce back with a good performance against the run. I'm glad they did it.

Wasn't grounding was hit as he threw.

But the refs effed the rules,Either team can call for a measurement.

Have fun!

A Seahawks win tonight would put the Vikes in a first place tie with the Packers. Wouldn't that be a nice shift in perspective after where we were just 6 days ago? :)

Adrian Peterson entered the game with 12,385 combined net yards. On his fourth carry, he broke receiver Cris Carter’s Vikings career record of 12,410 combined net yards (12,383 receiving, 24 rushing, 3 fumble return).

We have a new Vikings career yardage record. SKOL!
