Lol. Fret not. Our defense should be much improved. Plus, we always have Jim, who could invade the Bear headquarters and mess uo their playbook.

Falcons LT Sam Baker suffered a torn right patellar tendon during Saturday's preseason game and is done for the season.
It's a big blow for Atlanta, as turnstile Lamar Holmes will enter the starting lineup. No. 6 overall pick Jake Matthews will likely kick from right to left tackle. It's Matthews' more natural position, and he's the future at the position anyway. Baker signed a six-year, $41 million deal with Atlanta in March of 2013 and played in just four games last season due to a torn left patellar tendon. He's now likely to go down as one of GM Thomas Dimitroff's biggest blunders. Dimitroff has struggled mightily in recent years to piece together a competent roster.

He's blown out both patellar tendons in successive seasons. Shades of Greg Childs.

Ahhh yeah, he's just an aspiring doctor, yeah that's it. Needs a backup plan just in case that whole owning a football team thing doesn't work out. Just gettin in a couple of practice exams, that's all. Nothing to see here. I find the 2nd link you posted more troubling lol.
While Jones would not discuss the photos, he did address a TMZ video that showed NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino getting off the Cowboys' luxury bus last week outside a Hollywood nightclub. Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones, who also was in the video, is a member of the league's competition committee.
Just going over some of the new rules there boys?

Bears signed KR/RB Darius Reynaud.
After the Bears released KR Eric Weems last week, they needed a new one. While Reynaud's position is listed as running back, he won't be in the mix to see carries behind Matt Forte. Reynaud averaged 23.9 yards per kick return last season in nine games with the Titans and Jets. He'll compete for the job.

Colt Lyerla - TE - Packers
Packers waived/injured TE Colt Lyerla.
He'll revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers. It's far from a guarantee, as Lyerla is one of this season's highest-upside undrafted free agents. Standing in at 6-foot-4, 247 pounds with 4.61 wheels, Lyerla is a potential mismatch. He only went undrafted because of (admittedly serious) character concerns. Recovering from a torn PCL and MCL, Lyerla is staring at "at least" six weeks of rehab, and likely more. He'd have a fighting chance at a roster spot next year if the Pack can get him through waivers and on I.R.

Hmm.
Packers TEs coach Jerry Fontenot believes TE Colt Lyerla (knee, injured reserve) could eventually be moved to fullback.
Fontenot believes the move would "certainly (seem) to fit his wheelhouse." It's bizarre to hear of a 6-foot-4 tight end with 4.61 speed potentially being moved to fullback, but it's a moot point for 2014, as Lyerla will miss the entire season. There's a chance Lyerla will be riding the pine for another team, as he's been exposed to waivers after being waived/injured on Tuesday.
