Man for once I'm glad to be at work. This may be the first game in years I won't watch the replay.

The mechanics are terrible... Again...

Ponder does this weird thing with his foot when he throws. He doesn't transfer weight from back to front which allows him to get his lower body involved in throws. On a lot of his throws, he actually lifts the rear leg, which means he gets no help with velocity or control from his lower body. I think he does it to increase the speed with which he can get the ball out of his hand, but in reality it just makes his passes wildly inconsistent. It's also a big reason why his deep ball is such a wounded duck most of the time. He uses almost entirely upper body and arm on those throws. Good deep balls require sound footwork and mechanics.

Stunning that Ponder has lasted as long as he has without addressing those fundamental shortcomings.

It's not enough that we lose, we MUST get embarrassed.

Not sure about the percentages but I agree with the point you're making and it doesn't speak well of the players.

Thanks for responding to the point I was actually trying to make instead of just assuming I was making an excuse for Ponder, which is not what I was trying to do. I'm concerned about this offense and Norv. They haven't looked very good this season except when facing a couple of pretty troubled teams.

As for the rest... I think most of the fans here are getting exactly the game they deserved tonight. I hope they're enjoying it.

Oh and Edward, the idea that "the QB is everything in modern pro football" is nothing more than a media-driven myth.

Good night , all...

Our secondary is showing no urgency. It's like they jog their angles before attempting to tackle.

Who the heck are these "Vikings" fans who are still cheering and smiling they are showing?

How many times has there been holding on #3? Russell lead the league in holding calls last year? I just find stupidity funny, my apologies

What's the worst Vikings loss? I think we're getting close.

Not sure what you mean Jim. Nobody "deserves" this except Rick Spielman for keeping Ponder on the roster.

Say what you want, but mark my words - these same offensive players will look 100% better the next time Bridgewater starts.

Not sure what that means, but I wouldn't wish ponder on anyone, except maybe the saints.
