They went defense again. I guess this really is Mike Zimmer's team at this point!

It's a solid pick. Just remember, Vikes, you need to be able to block people.

Hopefully, they'll land a good guard in R3.

Would love to know what the Eagles were offering. Perhaps Eric's older brother plus something more?

kurtkeoki wrote:There was a lot of talk on NFL network about Jalen Strong. Well, we passed on WRs in both rounds. I think that says as much about what the coaches think of our WR corps as it does about our defense. Obviously we needed a LB, but it's equally telling that we apparently didn't need a WR. The progression of Patterson is even more important now.
I don't get the Talking Heads love for Strong, he doesn't seem to get separation at the college level, how's he gonna do it in the big time?

I read somewhere in the last hour that he's got psychological issues that transcend any failed drug tests. I got a bit of "Demetrius Underwood" vibe from reading it, so I'm glad we're staying away.

I do want to take a shot at Lael Collins in the 3rd though.

Sorry we didn't get Dawson. Kendricks accumulated almost 500 tackles at UCLA, if that merits anything.

“@itheeayb: wait are you serious?”
That would be Anthony Barr's reaction.

It's not like teams haven't done that before. You had Aikman/Walsh dual 1st round QB's for the Cowboys, Shuler/Frerotte, and the last pair, RG3/Cousins. And that was at QB.

In the NFL* - I realize that is what he played in college.

I think Kendricks is a great pick!

I'm excited to see him and Barr together on the field next season.

I think he's also been projected at WLB too if I'm not mistaken.

Mothman, if we draft a OL next I am going to run naked on the roof. This is working out nice so far.

His skill set fits that profile. I'm hoping he'll be stout enough to play MLB for us, though.
