Dude, let's simmer down. He had 16 completions and one touchdown. The Vikings didn't win because of Ponder. He's still awful and he's still got a tenuous hold on the starting gig at best beyond this season. He's basically being lauded simply for managing not to piss his own pants today.

According to the ESPN playoff machine, the Vikings can lose next week and still make the playoffs if Chicago, New York and Dallas all lose next week.

He played a good game today. It wasn't outstanding but it was good. Diminishing it as you're doing above is just the flip side of declaring Ponder a resounding success because of the same performance.
