Did I cover all the bipolar bases?

If only they tried a double reverse to Patterson, run the wild cat, run the wild cat with a flea flicker, TE sweep, put Linval in at FB. So unoriginal! I want to see a triple option fumblerooski to Locke who statue of liberties to Bud Grant!
Never wanted Norv to go. He is much better than Pat.

Not directed at any particular person, just the overall sentiment I get.

Of course an equal amount of pressure is coming right up the middle so I guess we could keep a RB and FB in to help. I sure hope that one WR left over gets open!!
Actually it would be two WRS if you kept in 8 blockers and combining it with play action and a dig/post combo or doing a sluggo on a pump just might work especially with how often they run short stuff. The defense would probably bite on a pump fake. Or they could just keep on never attempting it and throwing behind the Los for 13ppg and high completion percentage stats. I would have tried it to CP deep today with Thielen on a dig.

But the Vikings have 5 weak links on their line so you have to keep both backs and tight ends in to help, thus only one WR running a route!

Looks like the Lions have a good team to me. They could easily be a 9-2 team with some breaks in other games. So, give them some credit...they made plays.
-
I love Bradford's arm and accuracy, but anyone who can't accept his complete lack of pocket presence and continual failure to step up in the pocket, isn't being fair.
This, today, is basically what we had all last season except TB is 10x more aware in the pocket and able to extend plays.
-
The line ...omg...the injuries. I really don't know how bad they were today because they never really asked them to block for more than 2seconds. They didn't allow a sack though.
-
No telling what will be TB's status next season. If they can manage to procure even a middle of the pack line with AD returning, Bradford will give them a legit shot. If not, then they better find out what Hienken has and draft another dude.
-
The first 5 games and for much of several others, showed that this team has a lot of promise. But it has been a perfect strom of bodies breaking that has created an environment to where they have to play nearly perfect to win. The can't overcome these little errors until then.
-
It's a good team that is crippled...
They just have to keep working and building on the positives regardless of what happens this year.
-
Try not to be such dikheads to eachother in the meantime....it's disappointing to see how this season has unfolded but it's just football, yo.
-
happy thanksgiving~ ~

Division games are always close, and the lions aren't a pushover, but the Vikings basically gave them these two wins by committing errors at bad times as usual. And by gave I don't mean like "well Detroit doesn't deserve them", I simply mean that we were in a position to win both games and failed. First game with that prevent crap.

This game? Call me paranoid, again, but Bradford was scared. he wasn't even pressured that much and he was rushing throws and throwing checkdowns. He has no pocket presence, he doesn't use his blockers for leverage, if he senses pressure he either throws a checkdown or balls up and goes down, there is no in between. He doesn't have grit, he can't extend plays, and he throws the ball too quick. And anyone that thinks he's better than bridgewater needs to have their head examined. He can throw when everything around him is perfect and that is all you're getting. There is no improv or shenanigans. If he's pressured hes going down, or making a bad throw

Throw Taylor Heinicke into the mix. He's mobile and has a decent arm.

I'm really amazed at the lack of football knowledge on this board overall. A few understand the game but many...wow "my dad was a Ram fan back in the day and he has no pocket awareness..blah, blah, blah.."

As I have said before, I have SEEN EVERY THROW THIS GUY HAS MADE...not some...EVERY SINGLE THROW since his FIRST SNAP at OU! If you are thinking he's the problem I would suggest you start following another sport because this one is way, WAY over your head.

And I'll ask this AGAIN so maybe someone here will answer: Which team HAD their OL, wr's, and RB in tacked today, AND played at home? yet was locked in a 13-13 tie in the last minute of play? I mean they had their so called GREAT QB and everything else going FOR them! And which team was on their FOURTH OT, 2nd C, and without their top wr????

Yep, it's clear to me now, this is Bradford's fault for the loss, hell at least HE had enough sense where to line up when he played WR! Patterson???? Embarrassing... :steamed:

You do understand that 3/4 of the million short, quick throws are by design right? I mean you at least understand that much? That they use the short pass as their run game because they are COMPLETELY incapable of running the ball past 2 to 3 INCHES right? PLEASE tell me you at least understand that part of the game plan? I'll get to the OL, 7-8 having to stay in to protect just to get a short pass of later...

It's not all his fault. But he's the biggest reason. OC calls plays but he can't make Bradford throw it. He chose to sense ghost pressure and throw 4 yard routes. Biggest one was that 3rd and 8 he threw to McKinnon on the sideline and he had NO pressure. He moved forward for whatever reason and chose to throw a 4 yard pass to McKinnon which equaled a 2 yard gain on third and 8. I mean seriously? Not even trying to reach the sticks? There were 2 linebackers a corner and a safety there, like wtf did he think jet was gonna do? A dante hall move and elude the whole team? He did that on a few occasions.

So they design everyone to run three yard routes? On that third and 8 I mentioned all 3 wideouts went past the sticks and he threw it to jerrick. For no damn reason. They are not all by design, give me a break. He's choosing to throw these checkdowns
