Because you said, "When I played for the Dresden Monarchs ( the Team of the Highlight video) practice took place on Monday, Tuesday (theory), Thursday and Saturday for at least 3 hours. That is not much for professional football but more than enough for students, fulltime workers or men with young children".
Ergo since you played in that same league as Babatunde and recently joined the board I simply wondered if his signing may have caused you to "follow his Viking's stay" on a Viking message board. I was just curious.

I see. As you can see on my profil I already joined VMB in September last year months before he (Babatunde) became a member of the Vikings.
I am Vikings-Fan for more than, I would say 17 years ( that's why I am here at VMB). Babatunde and I just played for the same Football Club to different times. So I do not know him and I would not wonder if he is not a member of the Vikings after the cuts in September.

Xivios no worries, Welcome to the board... We have many people who keep things private, here. We have people; from all walks
of life and society. Some fans are well experienced,in life; and some, still in high school.

I am not sure of your "no worries comment" after you quoted me  I saw that he had only 4 posts and did not notice that he had joined a year ago. Not a big deal

I agree that he is a long shot and I had seen the other videos posted, but didn't think that they showed his athleticism. If it hadn't been posted yet, check out this...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMABpy_aWaw

He can really move well. We just don't know his mental make up. Will he be overwhelmed with the press? I say not. he is 27, not a kid and he seems really down to earth.
Will he be intimidated by other NFL players? that is the question. If he can accept his role in the team, I think he has the athleticism to succeed.

His story is making the rounds: http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/pol ... ailsignout

His attitude is awesome. This might be my favorite quote:
"What surprised Ryan (Monnens, the Vikings' director of pro scouting) – I wasn't jumping around, like big, happy of signing it," Aiyegbusi recalled recently between sips of a remarkably tiny-looking iced tea.

"He was like, 'Are you not happy?' I said, 'I will be happy when I put J.J. Watt to the ground.' (Monnens) started laughing."
And
"I'm a realist. But I'm about to bring my best to the table," Aiyegbusi said. "It ain't going to be easy for either of us to go against each other. And maybe there will be some lack of technique. But they'll get (an) aggressive, big guy trying to get the gap and go to the second level.

"If they ain't going to bring all they got, they're going to be pushed backward."

I don't think he is a long of shot as some people think.. I think the Vikings know what he can be
and will hide him for a year or so and work his mechanics ...

They are already promoting him hard and he is doing meet and greets with Carl Eller ...

Does not seem like a guy we don't keep...

Vikings prospect Babatunde Aiyegbusi has quickly become a media sensation
The Vikings begin offseason workouts Monday, and one of intriguing questions is whether Aiyegbusi, who turns 27 next month, can develop into a legitimate NFL player.

"Of course, there are doubts from people because they don't know, they haven't seen me play,'' said Aiyegbusi, being looked at initially as a right tackle. "But I don't doubt myself. I know I'm ready to put in as much work as is needed. ... I believe that the sky is the limit for me.''

Did he basically say "What I learn here will be helpful when I go back to Poland?" I may have misunderstood but it sounded like he is resigned to not making the team if I heard him correctly.

I think he was babbling there when he said that. He said before that that he was excited to face the defensive guys and be a productive member of the team (paraphrasing). He admits he's "a big guy with no technique." His odds were already long and got longer after the draft with the influx of offensive linemen. Still, hopefully he can put it together and be productive. I'll be focusing on him in camp videos.

Tackle 'Babs' Aiyegbusi out to be more than 'some guy from Poland'

http://www.1500espn.com/sportswire/Tack ... land051115
The franchise's free agency philosophy won't provide much for fans seeking 12-month excitement in a four-month sport, but the goal is to find and coach up big, fast players with something to prove -- like Aiyegbusi.

"Some might think: 'stupid Vikings going to waste [a contract] on somebody from Europe,'" Aiyegbusi said. "I'm going to prove them wrong."
The Vikings surrendered the fifth-most sacks in the NFL last season and haven't guaranteed Aiyegbusi anything but one of 90 offseason roster spots. His journey could already be viewed as a success, but he now has an opportunity to further shock the football world.

"It's really a no-brainer at the end of the day," Zimmer said. "You get a guy on the cheap that has a ton of athletic ability, big size."
