In starting Freeman, the locker-room, Ponder, Cassel, just had to go along with it and be good soldiers, there time could come along. What would not have been good for them would be to be critical of Freeman and the decision to play him.
I agree. For all the absurdity of the latest news, I have to admit that I'm looking forward to seeing how Ponder responds with his back against the wall. It would be pretty dramatic if he could defeat our arch-rival on Primetime TV. If he resurrects his career w/ a win look for Freeman's concussion to mysteriously become complicated and protracted.

I agree with both of you. They should rally to Ponder...it's his team, regardless of how bad you think he's been.

He even looked disgusted on Monday Night. I bet he was thinking, "Holy crap? Is this what I look like out there?" And I bet a part of him was going, "HAHAHAHA, and you think I suck!?!" He'll never admit to that, though. But I gotta think he was a little naughty with his thoughts towards Vikings fans, like, "Is this what you wanted? Oh yeah? Good luck to ya!" You know it's bad when we're excited to see what Ponder can do. LOL.
The crowd will be into it, the Vikings are p!ssed, Jennings wants to have a good game, Peterson is tired of doing nothing...we're due.
With Ponder now at Q/B I need to change my previous score from 48 - 0. I still believe it will be a blowout, something in the range of 34 - 10 but has it really come to this......PONDER is now our best chance against GB. Who would have believed it

I think he's always been our best shot, we just didn't know it. But going from like a 10% chance to win to a 12% chance isn't very significant.

I still think Cassel is our best shot to win. (up to 13% chance to win!)
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!

This is good. My bookies have got the handicap at packers -10
We've got to get a real QB. These threads where QB 1 sucks less than QB 2 are entertaining for a while, but it would be nice to have some stability at the position. Heck, even 'my choice' for QB isn't so "hands down" better that I can get indignant when someone disagrees with me. All I can do is laugh and say, "you might be right". If Ponder does start, maybe we can look at that game as the 'wildcard game' from last year he never got to play...
