This year is gonna be stacked at QB and a few good guys will be available in free agency but...
"Ponder's our guy!"
Is he? If anybody can honestly tell me you can say the phrase "Christian Ponder, Super Bowl Champ" with any scrap of sincerity, justify it please!

Johnny Football may be a potential headache at the NFL level. Besides that read option crap he runs works well in college but it's not as successful in the NFL. And another thing about Texas A&M, they recruit a lot of good WRs, mainly because they want to play for him. I don't think he will have it that easy in the pros though.
I like AJ McCarron or Aaron Murray.

Big fan of McCarron right here. Kid would be PERFECT for Minnesota.

Don't forget the tackle taken pick 2 this last draft...And another thing about Texas A&M, they recruit a lot of good WRs
How after are guys "developed"? Does he have the tools...or doesn't he?I'd like to seem them draft Chuckie Keeton from Utah State and develop him.
Re: Dilfer: 'Christian Ponder is Elvis Grbac'
I think so, but there's always risk especially with the later drafted QB's. Lots of guys have been picked with no intention of starting immediately. Kapernick and Wilson being 2 of the latest. Even if they want to continue on with Ponder, they still need to start prepping a real option on the bench.Demi wrote: How after are guys "developed"? Does he have the tools...or doesn't he?

Or, we could see what Washington wants for Cousins or(long shot) Josh Freeman perhaps? If not, I'm a big fan of Murray...mondry wrote:maybe we can have dilfer pick our next QB LOL
