These announcers are terrible. Like what is Spielman going to say "Oh, he won't make the team, he sucks." Try talking about either the game or new rules or something.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

I was reading the earlier comments in this thread about Mauti not being able to make impact because of his injuries. Out of all the LBs this pre-season. Bishop and Mauti have been making the most impact this preseason. So that says a lot.

Blair Wash = Gary Anderson 2.0. I just have a gut feeling if it ever came down to a post-season game winning field goal, Walsh will choke..

I'd have to agree! It's been fun! Wish I could have seen more from MBT to Webb and Burton, but I'll live. It's still been a decent game.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Most exciting game of the pre-season...

I'm not saying Walsh will do horrible but I just think he is one of THOSE kickers that may miss a crucial kick every now and then.MelanieMFunk wrote: REALLY?!?! He is your guy! Don't even start. lol.

I hope someone gives Love some oxygen.
Webb is going to be a force on the goal line this year.

It seem like the first two games Stephon Burton was making some plays, and now the last two games Joe Webb is making some big plays. If it came down to those two I would cut Burton and keep Webb. I think we will get better production from Webb, he far more athletic than Burton. Unless they keep 6 WRs. Which I think is stupid in my opinion.
Re: Titans @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Preseason
Nooo!! I hope the vikings dont win! I would rather they lose, I've read that teams that go 1-3 preseason often have the worst regular season record. (0-4 teams typically win more games)
yeah i know these games are pointless but still

I'd like to keep both. From what I gathered they kept 6 last year--and 4 RB. Really? On what planet do we need 4 RBs? We don't; barely need 2.JEC334 wrote:It seem like the first two games Stephon Burton was making some plays, and now the last two games Joe Webb is making some big plays. And too bad Sherels is unlikely to be returning kickoffs. That's more likely to be Patterson, Burton and/or Webb at KR. I honestly think Fred Evans could have taken that one to the house with that ginormous hole and great blocking on the return.Purple Jesus wrote:HEY!! A win!! Kinda odd the only game Ponder does NOT play and we win...... Just had to add that. Great game for Sherels. Too bad it wasn't regular season or he would have tied Cromartie's NFL record for longest TD.
But the Sherels vs. Felder question did become more interesting, as they both played well at CB (albeit against the Titans' 2s and 3s). Maybe Brandon Burton will end up being the odd man out.
The backup safety spots look interesting too. Robert Blanton did some good things tonight, but he also blew a few plays, looking a little lost in coverage.

Yep, DBs are a bit more of a question now. I think Sherels has shown a bit more at DB then Felder. Felder didn't have a great game that I saw. Sherels is such a basic CB though. No great speed, height or build.Eli wrote: And too bad Sherels is unlikely to be returning kickoffs. That's more likely to be Patterson, Burton and/or Webb at KR.
