Wow. I generally consider Siefert to be an OK reporter -- not Pulitzer worthy, but not horrible. But this is pretty much garbage.Mothman wrote:Kevin Siefert making a mountain out of a molehill in regard to Greg Jennings' comments about Aaron Rodgers:

That's complete bullsh!t. Siefert obviously hasn't been around the same Greg Jennings who has taken Corderelle Petterson under his wing, or said this ...Kevin Siefert of ESPN.com wrote:Instead, let's recognize an indisputable fact: Jennings' tenure in Minnesota has gotten off to a completely unexpected start. His first impression -- as a classic receiver diva, one who seemed embittered by credit directed elsewhere -- is a total departure from the reputation he earned in Green Bay.
Somehow, I don't recall actual divas, dudes like T.O. or Chad Johnson Ocho-stinko (or whatever he calls himself now), saying anything like that.Greg Jennings wrote:Whatever walk of life you’re in, your goal should always be to stalk some kind of success. So you have to ask yourself daily, ‘What are you doing to truly be successful?’ Because everyone has it in them. Everyone has that key to their success. But the only person who can unlock it is you.
Again, I agree. It's garbage.J. Kapp 11 wrote:Wow. I generally consider Siefert to be an OK reporter -- not Pulitzer worthy, but not horrible. But this is pretty much garbage.
Agreed. I consider Siefert one of the better writers out there when it comes to covering the Vikings (and the division) but he's really swimming in the shallow end of the pool with this stuff.
Apparently HE does because HE'S the big mouth diva that won't shut up about his ex.Who should give a dam as to how or why he got here.
THIS was actually funny. I'm gonna call him this when he makes me mad this year, because I'm sure he will a time or two. Might even tell him to go back to Green Bay if he's gonna play like that. I say all sorts of things to my TV when I'm fired up. Thanks for the cool nickname!Demi wrote:Get over it Greg Jennifer.
More at the link...This time, Jennings used a broader brush to explain the prevailing mindset in and around the only other NFL team for which he played.
“When I came over here, I was kind of brainwashed,” Jennings told Paul Allen and Ben Leber of KFAN radio. “There’s no ‘kind of’ to it. Being over in Green Bay, you’re brainwashed to think anyone in the division is tiers below. And so coming over here I meet the people within the organization and I’m like, ‘Wow, these are really great people.’
If you actually listen to the interview in which he made those comments about "brainwashing", you'll hear that isn't even close to being true. He's articulate, honest and obviously intelligent. He's certainly no idiot.Eli wrote:Greg Jennings REALLY needs to shut his big fat mouth and concentrate on catching passes for the Vikings.
I can't believe I once said that it would surprise me if Jennings ever misplaced his words. The truth is, he's an extremely well-spoken idiot.
Thanks for the link. I see no reason to be concerned about his mindset. In fact, his willingness to be frank probably speaks to a good mindset. He's clearly happy and comfortable with his new team. IF he actually has a little bitterness toward his old team, why is that a problem? They're the Vikes biggest rivals! A little animosity toward them isn't necessarily bad for business.Demi wrote:I was worried about injuries, age, and contract. Not I'm wondering about the guys mindset...honest so that's refreshing. But how many headlines has he made just this offseason, was he like this in Green Bay? Not only that but clearly still bitter about how it went down in Green bay.
If he doesn't know when to keep his trap shut, then he's an idiot. An articulate one, but an idiot just the same.Mothman wrote:He's certainly no idiot.
