That's it, Craig. You've tipped your hand and now we all know you think Simpson is the BEST.
Better than DeAndre Hopkins?

How in God's name would anyone know he has improved or not when we haven't played a pre-season or regular season game yet!!!

They haven't even put pads on yet. June hand ringing is a classic symptom of NFL withdrawal. We are the afflicted .....

LOL! You've got that right.

We're months away from real, meaningful answers to questions like "Has Jerome Simpson improved?, "How will the Vikings use Shariff Floyd this season?", etc.

(Craig quickly tries to cover up his "JEROME SIMPSON IS BEST NFL PLAYER EVER!" t-shirt with his hands)...

Umm...gosh, Jim, I don't know what you're talking about...

I know it's only June, but I think Wobby has really improved compared to last year. I heard he was dealing with carpal tunnel all last year which really affected his blogging.

Yeah, we're really lucky to have a guy like that in this day and age. Most guys would just pack it in and collect a check with an injury like that. Not Wobby, he just kept mashing that keyboard....he's old school. It's easy to see he's healthy now, he might go all the way this year. SKOL Wobby!

For the same reason people are all excited about a LB who also hasn't played a pre-season or regular season game yet--or at all last year either.

It's called hope, wishful thinking, having a positive outlook, etc.

I think Simpson can--and SHOULD--improve on his numbers from last year. And I can say that with confidence, because I believe he's not injured anymore and can play up to his full potential (whatever that is)--and I also believe Ponder has improved.

No one is saying he's going to be this big stud WR. I thought the question was more about people's thoughts on how he is going to do this year compared to last...and yes, I think he'll do better. If not, bye bye Jerome.

-----------------

And to the other random comments, I have Vikings bedding--and I enjoy it very much. And while Vikings stuff is very sexy, talking about Wobby is not.

At least Bishop has a past proven history over time.

So do many other players out there not really worth signing anymore.

Either way, I have more hope for Simpson than I do Bishop being a long-term answer for anything. If Simpson improves, he might actually stick around for a while. But, ya know, maybe Bishop can, too. We'll see.

My answer was in context of Simpson only, as Simpson only had the one year in Cincy, wher Bishop has much more than that.
