Anyway on to the Lions game. We ought to be able to control the clock with our running game and short passes. Which ought to slow down the Lions passing attack some. However, I still don't have a lot of confidence in our defense. We are on the road and may have a let down after the big win. The lions may be pumped after the big loss. If this were at home I think I'd pick the vikes, but since we are at Detroit.

On NFC Playbook, Donovan McNabb, Brian Baldinger and Sterling Sharpe all picked the Vikes to beat the Lions this weekend. I hope that's a not a bad omen.

I like our chances against the Lions. We should win this one, 28-14. We just have to not play down to the level of the competition. That 49ers game should boost our confidence and show that we can play against any team, and win!!

About time we got some love from Baldy, who grew up (presumably) as a Vikings fan in Apple Valley Minnesota. I know he was a North Stars fan. Boy, that was a while back, eh?

My heart says 31-20 Vikes. My gut tells me that I'm going to be on a roller coaster with this team all season.
