Either way, Vikes got this one.

I would feel much better about 2-0 vs 49ers. Not that it'll make any difference, but I would enjoy the momentum.

Dwight Freeney - DL - Colts

Colts RE/OLB Dwight Freeney (ankle) is listed as out for Week 2.

He's been ruled out, and the Colts may struggle to put pressure on Christian Ponder without their best pass rusher. Coach Chuck Pagano insists Freeney is "day to day," but all other indications suggest Freeney's status is more "week to week." We may not be seeing him in action for a couple of more games.

We need to recall that Peyton Manning was their qb in some of our loses there. A lot of teams lost to him. My concern is the 4-3. We struggled against that if I remember right. However there really is no reason we should lose this game. We are the better team here.

@TomPelissero: #Colts also ruled out left guard Joe Reitz and backup linebacker Pat Angererererer.

We should beat the Colts, but I'm not going to think were in line for a run at the superbowl if we do.

Is it really a fact? ####, might as well not line up on Sundays

Call me an optimist, but if we go in the third game 2-0, I think they can beat the Niners.

Good thing the Colts run a 3-4 base defense then. :smilevike:

Changing my prediction. Previously I had us winning, but now I'm changing my mind.

Colts 27, Vikings 16

I don't have an x's and o's reason, or even a football reason for this. It's actually a stupid, superstitious reason. When it comes to my sports teams, good things and bad things happen in bunches. It's never a mix. Each weekend it's either all good or all bad.

Well, last weekend, when we won, my Vols also won and my Orioles got 2 important wins over the Yankees.

This weekend, my Vols lost while looking like total crap, and my Orioles have lost back to back games to the A's. This is going to steamroll on me tomorrow I'm sure.

And yes, the purpose of this post is to reverse jinx everything. Hopefully I'll be wrong. :D

I like them having 2 injuries to the o line and not having Dwight Freeney. Gonna get that road win! :)
