For the record, Metallica is one of the greatest bands talent wise of all time. (Even if you don't like Jame's voice) Kirk Hammett is top 10 guitarists of all time. Hey I'll argue with that Statement. Hammett sucks as a lead guitarist, yeah I said it, HE SUCKS. His Lead solos sound like PURE CRAP !!!! Top 10 Guitarist of all time ? What a Joke. I can name 50 guitarist who smoke him. Heck I can go downtown , any downtown in the USA , throw a rock and hit a better lead guitarist than Kirk. Top ten of all time? I wish I still smoked what you are smoking

He ain't that bad. At least his band started letting him solo again. They haven't released any more albums with cow cumshots on them where
he wasn't allowed to do anything more complicated than barre chords.
