ESPN's Jeremy Fowler hears the Cowboys, Falcons, Seahawks, Vikings, and Giants have all shown preliminary interest in free agent DE Adrian Clayborn.
Clayborn missed almost all of 2014 with a torn biceps tendon, but doesn't turn 27 until July and could at very least help a team as a rotational end. A medical concern, Clayborn also missed most of 2012 with an ACL tear.

ESPN's Ben Goessling reports the Vikings have expressed interest in free agent ILB A.J. Hawk.
The Vikings have a need at middle linebacker with Jasper Brinkley unlikely to be re-signed. Hawk was reduced to a part-time role last year and is one month removed from ankle surgery, but could be a starting option in Minnesota. Hawk is scheduled to visit with the Bengals next week.

Oh God. That would be really really bad.Pondering Her Percy wrote:
Well it depends what they offered I suppose. But to me he's a 2 down MLB who isn't a significant upgrade over Brinkley. Would rather see what Cole can do but we will seeVikings28 wrote: Oh God. That would be really really bad.
That's the same point I was trying to make with the Vikings letting Cassel go. It doesn't make sense. With his familiarity with the offense and the players, Cassel would've been fine starting for the Vikings which made him all the more valuable to this team as a #2.Mothman wrote:
With the interest growing in Hoyer right now, there's going to be a bidding war and some team will overpay for him and it won't be the Vikings.Hoyer's familiarity with Norv's offense might make him a logical choice. I'd rather see them go with a younger option like Locker or McCoy than sign Jackson.
I wouldn't want him at any price. They should be looking to get younger and more athletic at LB.VikingPaul73 wrote:Well it depends what they offered I suppose. But to me he's a 2 down MLB who isn't a significant upgrade over Brinkley. Would rather see what Cole can do but we will see
Hawk is not and has never been a beast in the NFL.mosscarter wrote:what do you mean? greenway has been washed up for about 4 years now a.j. hawk would be a MAJOR upgrade. some of the comments on here amaze me a.j. hawk has been a beast his whole career and he is younger than greenway and would probably not cost much, so what in the world is the argument about not signing him?
