I'd agree with you, but I've seen less contact with the head get called. I just expect consistency from the refs. They don't have to be perfect - just consistent.

True. Sam panicked, lost composure, and flubbed the play...again. its a pattern. the guy has some real limitations.

He just hoped to get bailed out like he did on the INT earlier.

I bet Cam Newton would disagree with you. :D

I guess Bradford should start wearing his helmet really loose so it's way easier to sell the illegal hits to the head and facemask calls...

Do you understand "follow through"? I mean did you ever throw a football? See when you are expecting to follow through the ball goes on target, but what the arm is suddenly stop it does not.

Good God....

Come on - you think Bradford is normally that inaccurate? The dude has had some overthrows, but that was unusual for him.

Yeah no kidding. It looked like he was going for the jump ball pass to Rudolph on the slant but the defender hitting his shoulder and helmet made him let it go earlier than expected so it sailed on him.

Exactly. I'm guessing all week we're going to see the "lets blame Bradford" train start to board passengers.

No, I wouldn't say it cost us the game. It only cost us a chance at another shot to tie the game. You can't say that if they called it we would have won.

Let's be honest, Rudoph probably would have dropped it if it had been on target anyway.

Bradford was super clutch on that entire final drive. Even after I thought he'd mess it up before we'd pass the 50 yard line.

Haha - it hurts because it's true. Right through the gloves.

Yeah, he couldn't follow through on the throw. It was thrown right at Rudolph, but too high because he had to release it early to avoid the oncoming arms of the defender.

It wasn't blatant to the head, but the refs will watch that (I hope) and realize they missed it.

Definitely not Bradford's fault.

We will never know because the refs took that chance away from us...

At the end of it all most people understand this team is toast this year and was not making the playoffs regardless of how bad that call was. I mean the entire team is being held together by tape at this point.

Which brings me to why would you bring AD back at all?

And why Floyd wasn't IR'd MONTHS ago is beyond me. For a team desperate for healthy bodies why they kept this guy on the roster is beyond me.
