Yep they do, but if you think its going to be the same old Cutler think again.....Plus Cutler is a ton better then Ponder lol
Lol! Cutler is so dam terrible its ridiculous dude.

All I know is two teams made the playoffs last year from the NFCN, and the cubbies weren't one of them. Just the Same. Old. Jay

Man, I wish I had a clever comeback here, but watching the guys who played tonight makes me wonder if 5th place is a possibility.

True. We have a few more positives to take from this game.

C Ponder (MIN) 17 of 23, 116yds, 2TD, 1INT

That's about right.

We showed some signs of hope. It'll be tons better with Peterson.

Oddly enough, I'm actually excited to see our last preseason game. Some of our backups have been exciting, especially after watching some of our starters. :)

Jay is so much better that he didn't make the playoffs last year and yet Ponder did?? My guess he is still a whiny little pre-Madonna.
Yes because PONDER took you to the playoffs and deserves most of the credit.............
Hey, at least SOMEONE took them to the playoffs.

When was the Bears last playoff game? Oh yea, in 2010, when my boys tore your hearts out en route to a Superbowl victory. Almost forgot.

Oh man I think I'm gonna blow my frosted flakes all over the screen! "Pre-Madonna"??!!! That's classic. I'm not trying to help this Bears troll... but that is funny. (It's prima donna, and is in no way a reference to the Material Girl) :D

I've seen people make that mistake before and it's always amusing. :)

 Man that's just great. It's almost like BC and AD, only measured by pre- and post-Madonna.

Rough night for the Vikes...

There were positives in this game but the o-line had another bad performance. Blocking, especially pas blocking, remains a genuine concern heading into the season.

The Vikes missed a LOT of tackles tonight and that's a concern too. This team can only compete for the division if they play fundamentally sound football and there's nothing more fundamental to success in this sport than blocking and tackling.

I was afraid of that... apologies to Randalio...

Doesn't really matter who wrote it... it's fantastically funny.

I can agree. I thought Ponder did way better at staying in the Pocket, but he looked like he was river dancing often.
Loadholt is a big liability in pass protection, IMO. He's great as a run blocker, but they didn't even do that very well tonight. Kahlil got schooled too.

The poor tackling was exacerbated by the slipperyness of LaMichael James...but it doesn't excuse it. Robinson in particular has to wrap up on the guys catching short passes.

I thought Simpson played well and it was good to see Ponder to Jennings a few times. Bad move by Burton stopping on that route on the INT.

Loved the 4 and 5 receiver sets. This team should clean house in the red zone with the big receivers they have......as long as they get into the red zone. Everything will get easier with #28 too.

O-line,bad penalties and shoddy tackling. The latter two are correctable......the former is going to cause some serious growing pains IMO.
