We don't want wildcard. We don't want anything that would help the players or coaches find a moral victory. This is just poor play and poor execution and it needs to be fixed.

Why would you ask for more than 16 games of disappointment ya flippin glutton?

A wildcard playoff berth is not a 'Moral victory'.

You cannot fix a paper mache line with 5 games left in the season.

You guys are dreaming. Playoffs? Really? This team is PURE CRAP. PURE CRAP. We suck as Bad as the Browns and we don't have any draft picks to speak of. Not sure I'm hanging around for any more of this. Super pissed

I've been watching the Vikes -- as I've been for five decades -- but staying away from the Message Board for no particular reason except because I've been busy.

But I have to say -- even as Vikings teams go, this squad is especially painful to watch. They excel at finding a way to lose football games. They're like George Blanda's Raiders, only the opposite. Instead of pulling out a miracle win each week, they come up with another creative way to implode. And looming on the horizon is a dearth of draft picks -- which only makes things worse.

I could go on, but I won't, except to say "Hi" to all my old friends on the Message Board. Sorry to pick this moment to say greetings, but at least I wanted to tell you that I've been feeling the purple pain right there with you week after excruciating week.

Good chance both wild cards come out of the East. I doubt anyone other than the our division winner gets in the playoffs.

Swept by the Lions - utterly disgraceful. Zimmer has reached a new low.

With this O-line it'd be equivalent to a SuperBowl victory!

The outlook for the Vikings moving forward is kind of a tough one. The OL is in shambles, now Berger is hurt, and Sirles... it completely kneecaps the whole offense. We are out of bodies to throw in there.

We won't win more than two more games this year.
You should hope they lose all 5 remaining games so their 2nd round pick can be as close to the 1st round as possible!

Skololololololololol!

Once again, i will point out, the Lions play the Saints, Giants, Cowboys and Packers.

The division is not over.

Yeah, but let's blame Bradford for only throwing short, right?
