Norv Turner: Teddy Bridgewater worth a top-10 pick
Although beat writers have consistently pegged veteran Matt Cassel as the likely Week 1 starter, comments from Turner and coach Mike Zimmer suggest Bridgewater can take over with a strong preseason showing.

Thanks for the link. One of the things I find most encouraging about Zimmer is the fact that I really believe he is focused on having a 'real' competition at QB. If that turns out to be Cassel, fine. If it turns out to be Bridgewater fine. (Even "you-know-who" is fine if he legitimately wins the job - I just personally don't see that happening). In any case, I feel confident whoever is under center at game one will have
earned that start.

Brian Robison? I thought he was going to play defensive end again.

I am pretty sure that Voldemort used to play QB on the Hogwarts American Football team. I think that is what turned him: not getting the attention that was paid to the Quidditch players.

I'm going to start using "you know who" as a pronoun more often. It makes for some interesting responses...

I think Teddy Bridgewater has his head on so straight, Says all the right things really like the guy, hope he does great for the Vikings. I go to school in Mankato and I cant wait to watch a bunch of training camp!

My prediction is that he will be a Brees/Wilson highbred. He sees the field, reacts to the situation, and seems to make the "smart" throws.
He will be a very good QB for the Vikes for the next several years.

Sounds like I hate him alright and it makes me so happy to see him play poorly??

When asked if anything surprised him, Teddy says the biggest thing is that the practices are harder than the games.
They throw things out in practice where he's meant to be extremely challenge. It's practice.
