That team also had some rough games in December (starting with a similar type of game to this one on the road against the Cardinals IIRC). They finished 2-2 in December, lost HFA to the Saints, and went on to blow it in classic Vikings fashion in the NFCC.
Wonder if this team has a similar fate in store for it.

@christomasson Unless the #Vikings made a big comeback, would be a tough loss from a tiebreaker standpoint since it could come down to common foes (the third tiebreaker) vs. Philly for homefield advantage and the Eagles already have beaten Carolina.

Honestly, the defense overall hasn't been terrible today. A few blown plays, but otherwise they've kept the Panthers in check.
The offense, OTOH, has sucked. Yes, the offensive line injuries haven't helped, but really, really poor execution by multiple players. This is surprising because they have been so consistent over the course of the season, and while the Panther defense is solid, I feel like the Vikings have hurt themselves more than the Panthers have stopped them.
