Not a weak call,. Any other qb and flags would be flying.fiestavike wrote: Meh, it would be a weak call. Technically correct, but weak to call that.

And Johnson's down the right sideline...and Treadwell when he had zero idea how to run a stop route...dude is a bust!

With a better oline do we like Bradford better than Teddy? Assuming we spend all offseason upgrading every oline position.

Calling a rookie a bust is going a bit far.RFIP wrote:

Maybe, but on a game tying play late in the game it'd be a shame to call that. I don't really care about debating it one way or the other, I wouldn't personelly expect that call to be made.me4get wrote: Not a weak call,. Any other qb and flags would be flying.

Yup and o line. Ok you suck, fine, but for Christ sake can you not hold or jump offsides if you aren't going to do anything? So many drive killers the past few weeks from penalties.J. Kapp 11 wrote:Special teams lost this game.
Our defense just held Dallas to 279 yards, but the Cowboys' winning TD came on a 10-yard drive following Thielen's fumble, and their last field goal came on a very short field set up by yet another horrible Jeff Locke punt.
Priefer, you need to go back to being special teams coach.

It's pathetic and will sooner or later drive fans away from the game.
Sleep it off, man. You're being irrational. We're all upset.

I'm going to give you a football lesson from Bill B who got it from Parcells. NEVER draft a dumb player. Treadwell is dumb between the ears. It's not that the game is too big for him, he can't THINK the game through.me4get wrote: Calling a rookie a bust is going a bit far.
Mark my words, he's a bust.

Probably a mute question, as Teddy is unlikely to ever play for the Vikings again. I don't think there's much doubt what most Vikings fans think, they prefer Sam, which is funny.TSonn wrote:With a better oline do we like Bradford better than Teddy? I was sitting in a cigar shop that was packed, in Dallas, the lone Viking, and the freakin' Vikings curse strikes again.
Cut the O-tackles, and dream about next years O-line!
Addendum: Dallas better hope they don't play the Giants in the playoffs.

he should have been cut weeks ago is why ifeel bad for him.VikingLord wrote: I don't feel sorry for him at all. Project or not, he has to learn how to use his hands and leverage better. The types of mistakes he's making are typical of a JV squad offensive lineman. He's a professional football player and if he can't get it done, just like Blair Walsh, Spielman has got to find someone who can.

Re: Cowboys @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 13
I have been an advocate for being able to review any call, but I doubt they will ever review judgement calls like this along with holding, PI, facemask etc.me4get wrote: And the one ref who's job is to watch for exactly a blow to the head was out of position. That should be added ro reviewable calls.
Re: Cowboys @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 13
The nfls problem are refs that are too old and never responsible for bad calls. Bad call and favoritism to certain teams is driving their ratings down. Just look at primetime games and you can see the favoritism.
