I'm no expert, but shouldn't you get PAST the first down marker BEFORE the pass is thrown?!

And make sure you throw it awkwardly so Carlson has to twist around to catch it. That always helps, too.

I know. The ball travels about 20 yards in the air, but it's a 5 yard gain due to the fact that Ponder is throwing from 15 yards deep.
