He has something to offer. He's won some NFL games. Unfortunately for us, I think we saw his enitre repertoire on the first drive.
Yeah exactly. Ponder at least showed some ability to throw the ball last week. He showed he can at least, if nothing more, beat an 8-9 man box. It doesn't seem to me like Webb can do that.
It'd never happen, but I say screw it, give MBT a try. Webb hasn't shown me anything to indicate he could win this ballgame.

Webb is not the reason here.

Joe isn't a pocket passer. I don't understand the coaching staff forcing him to stay in the pocket.
Still haven't given up hope. 2nd half, allow Webb to use this feet, move out of the pocket, still a chance.

Great first half by Webb. I hope all you Ponder haters are happy now.

This is brutal to watch. I thought Ponder was bad, but this is BRUTAL!
Musgrave........do NOT have Webb throw another pass. This is a friggen embarrassment!! Just hand off to Toby the rest of the game. Lets not risk an AP injury and let's not subject this already pathetic franchise to years of future humiliation about a QB that cannot throw!!! Lets just cry Uncle and get out with HOPEFULLY a tiny shred of respect (I doubt it but hopefully)

Spielman has his work cut out for him at both QB and offensive guard this offseason. Both positions need to be upgraded.

We need a better backup QB ... this is hard to watch. We miss you, Ponder.

The only thing Webb does is his "Houdini" plays every once in a while, it's been that way for three years. This isn't his fault, it's the coaches for failing to see it after 3 years.

Pelissero:
"Joe Webb isn't an NFL quarterback, but he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night."

Did you see Ponder trying to throw before the game?
Dude is hurt.
Way less velocity than even normal.
I'd rather fail with Ponder, the QB who helped get us here, then look like a bunch of goons with a QB who hasn't taken a snap all year.
