You think this team is throwing games? I don't understand. Clearly this team gave it everything they had. The defense was worn out, any positive plays we made were turned into penalties meanwhile the dolphins oline was holding all game or grabbing face masks.
We lost because the refs boned us, but mainly we lost because the defense just broke down. I could get over the lions loss, I can't get over this #### one. This has me literally punching #### walls.

The refs sucked today and really hurt the team. Had that late Ford TD not been taken away, the Dolphins don't win on the block.indianation65 wrote:As to a previous question asked, "Why does the NFL continually cheat the Vikes?" or something like that. Hmm, the owners have no clout or no aggressive tongue.

But in the end, it was the poor execution on the punt that cost them. Basic special teams play and needs to be executed as such in that situation and they can't do it. It's not the NFL, not the refs, not the owners. It comes down to the players and their failure to do their most basic jobs in a situation that ultimately cost them the game.

Terrible job by the defense today. I'm proud of the offense for keeping us in the game.
Pretty salty about the botched call on the Ford TD now.

I've got mine! Plus, I'm holed up in a bunker where the NFL's biased officials, broadcasters and front office personnel will never find me and all my Vikes gear.frosted wrote:Tinfoil hats for everyone!

Naw, had they punted then Tannahill would have gotten them at least a field goal, no doubt.VikingLord wrote: The refs sucked today and really hurt the team. Had that late Ford TD not been taken away, the Dolphins don't win on the block.

Rhodes play was terrible and Kalil looked like he has regained his rookie form, kudos to him.

I don't post often, due to the frustration of mediocrity of the team, but don't get me going on the "moral victories" theme. I avoided that thread purposely.

I haven't been a Viking fan butits seems squandering opprunties has happened since the Franchise existedMothman wrote:... and.... choke.
Well, Demi will be happy. The Vikes are one loss closer to a higher draft pick.
The defense came up short late in the 4th quarter... again. The offense could do absolutely nothing with the game on the line at the end. Loeffler blew the snap and the Vikes remain winless against teams .500 or better and drop to 6-9.
They fought hard and made some great plays today but they squandered another opportunity. That's basically been the story for two years now. I don't think we'll be hearing anything close to a "moral victory" speech from Zimmer after this one. I'm guessing he'll be ticked... or just depressed.
It was an entertaining game!

I won't dispute that there were some officiating gaffs today, most glaring example being Ford's TD catch.
But if you think there's a conspiracy directed against the Vikings or any team for that matter, IDK what to tell you.

I don't usually whine about officials, but this game was a travesty.
The no-TD call on Ford's catch and the PI against Rhodes at the end were two of the worst calls I've seen all year, and they cost us 11 points.
Add in Loeffler's junior high snap, and I'm really pissed right now.
