Ah. Now we're questioning his hands. Got it.fiestavike wrote: My point is that offseason training regimens don't mean much when on the field the guy (a) is shying way from contact or (b) can't catch the football.
As I said in the preseason, Patterson is the last WR on the team. I'm not even worried about him as a WR where Thielen is clearly superior, but simply as a returner, where he is also no longer the best player on the team. Don't be shocked if Diggs is active next week.soflavike wrote:Patterson's fundamental problem is that he's a lousy route runner. That's why he's relegated to gadget plays and kick returns. It's all he can handle.
Heck yes, Jim. I am a Psychologist, and I don't know what I'm talking about half of the time.Mothman wrote:This armchair psychoanalysis of Patterson is just silly. None of us are in position to know his state of mind, know how much he wants or doesn't want to contribute, etc. It's just fan griping and we see the same thing every %#@! time a first round pick disappoints fans and. It's beyond tiresome.
Not sure whats going on but the Vikings should cut him he don't caredead_poet wrote:
Because that's the same as several grueling hours working out on sand with very little rest daily. Clearly evidence Patterson doesn't give af.
I wouldn't call him a coward, but he doesn't have the brains. That's all.dead_poet wrote: Would a guy like that subject himself to "hell's trainer" all offseason?
you don't have it. Not questioning his hands.dead_poet wrote:
That's as a WR where we have already established that he is worthless. As a returned, he is now a coward. Sherels is far superior.yezzir wrote:

Didn't you just write "can't catch the football"?fiestavike wrote: you don't have it. Not questioning his hands.
Not criticizing his heart, just stating the obvious fact that he doesn't run routes well and the coaches don't have the confidence in him to use him more at WR.TSonn wrote:We are still criticizing Patterson after he showed he heart on his run this drive?
