tHINgs started to go wrong after the Harvin drop...He'd be over 100 yards right now if he caught that...

I really get sick and tired of our "bend but don't break" defense.

I agree.
Consider the contrast between the 4-0 Vikes playing a bad Rams team and the Giants playing a bad Raiders team. The Vikes are up 17-3 in a game that could easily be tied. Meanwhile, the Giants are crushing Oakland 28-7 at the half. If people wonder why the Giants are getting "the love", that should help explain it.

Good call Jim. I will mention the VIkings are on the road, while th Giants are at home, but I agree 100%. We really should be up by a lot more by now.

Yep, the "keep the other team in the game" script.
Does Childress have sympathy for weak teams?

On the other hand, we are up by 14. I hope our defense wakes up after halftime.

Wow, Giants vs. Saints next week. This time there are no hurricanes to move the game to NY. That will be a good game!!

I think the Giants might just be better at whipping inferior competition. They beat Tampa Bay 24-0 on the road.
Let's see what the second halves bring... maybe the Vikes will win by 40!

I would like to see us try to establish the running game now , We are starting to get soft in our run blocking. This is the third straight game our o-line is getting no push in the run game.

The defensive problems are the most disturbing to me. I think teams can win with average offenses as long as they have solid defenses. The Vikings defense does NOT look remotely solid against either the pass or the run, and they haven't for the last three weeks IMHO. Teams are finding glaring weaknesses and exploiting them.

steven jackson 46 yards
Peterson 42 yards...favre 11-15 140 yards.
FYI:
Bengals held Ravens to 7 points in the half......hopefully we can do that. On paper we are a better D than the Bengals.
Dallas and Buffalo are not very good football teams. Cleveland beating the Bills 3-0 at half.
Dallas down to Chiefs 3-10.
How about carolina down to the Redskins 10-2..... Carolin 0-5 and they were 13-3 last year!!
With that . I don't feel so bad that we are only up 14 points and getting beat in every statistical category.
