Alright, getting closer to a finished product but still have some image work to do (images for when topics are marked as read/unread, etc.)

Play around a bit, make a post or two, etc.

Nice! It looks great. Only minor gripe is the icons next to the threads but it's super clean and easy to read.

I guess. I'm not sure what they're supposed to be. Maybe make them horns or something else Vikings-related? I'm really being nit-picky.

I'm finding little things here and there I want to fix. Tapatalk hasn't been installed at this point but I'm not sure I want to ... the site looks way better than Tapatalk on mobile, I think, and there are no ads.

Is there a way I can modify the appearance of the board so that all of the text isn't in bold? Perhaps that kind of individual customization isn't an option?

It's not something that I can turn off for each person but I can turn it off overall. It's something that I was considering but I thought it was a little tough to read on the background when it wasn't more bold.

Thoughts now that it's not bold?

I think it's an improvement. It's much better, much easier to read.

This is my design background talking but in design, bold type is generally reserved for special purposes (emphasis, headers, logos, signs, etc.). I find plain/regular text reads much easier and, of course, it's designed to do that.

Edit: Incidentally, as I type this reply, I still see all text in bold but when the post is finalized on the board, it appears in plain text. However, the preview shows the text in proper format.

I hope that made sense.
